These terms cover your use of Aureous, the paper-trading website at aureous.trade. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Paper trading only

Aureous is a simulation. Balances, positions, profits and losses are not real money and can't be deposited, withdrawn, exchanged or redeemed for anything. No orders are ever placed on Hyperliquid or any other exchange. There are no prizes unless we announce one separately, with its own rules.

Not financial advice

Nothing on Aureous is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Simulated results don't predict real results. Trading real perpetual futures carries a high risk of losing money quickly, especially with leverage.

Market data and accuracy

Prices and other market data come from Hyperliquid's public data and may be delayed, interrupted or wrong. The simulation simplifies parts of how a real exchange works, as described on How it works. We may correct accounts or the leaderboard if a data error or bug produced results that couldn't have happened.

Your account

• You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in secure.
• Use one account. Don't create accounts to manipulate the leaderboard.
• Don't use bots or scripts against the service, overload it, probe it for weaknesses, or exploit bugs. If you find one, please tell us on X.
• Leaderboard names, clan names and clan tags must not be offensive, misleading or impersonate anyone. We may rename or close them.

We may rename, reset, suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

Aureous is provided free, as is and as available. We may change, pause or end any part of it, including resetting accounts or the leaderboard, at any time. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Aureous and its maintainers aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including decisions you make about real trading. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Trademarks

Aureous isn't affiliated with Hyperliquid. Hyperliquid and other names belong to their owners and are used here only to describe where market data comes from.
